ABOUT THE EVENT

On June 4th at Microsoft’s campus in Mountain View, 25 startups representing 18 countries gathered together to compete for the Cup, and entrepreneurs and investors alike gathered together to celebrate innovative technology from around the world. Combining global technology innovation with a touch of friendly competition, the World Cup Tech Challenge is a dynamic way for startups from around the world to launch their products in Silicon Valley for the first time.

SVForum was proud to welcome so many wonderful companies from countries all over the world. 2015 Winners are posted in each group below!

ANNOUNCING OUR 2015 WINNER...

P2Binvestor is a crowdlending platform for commercial lines of credit, providing working capital financing through a technology-enabled loan process that helps its clients increase productivity and profitability. The company offers a wide selection of products to businesses seeking to scale quickly to meet customer and market demand, and P2Bi’s crowdsourced funding model reduces its effective cost of capital, creating more flexible rates and terms for its clients. A crowd of accredited investors participates in funding each credit line, and investors earn a return in exchange for supporting P2Bi’s clients. #WCTUSA


Hundreds of startups from 53 countries applied, and the top 25 qualified through a thorough selection process. The winner in each Group was selected by votes from the panel and audience (with a little help from online voting points).

2015 Winner: Aporta Digital of Denmark!

Aporta will revolutionize the passenger experience through on board mobile interfaces that works in offline environments. These interfaces will enable transportation operators to 1) establish ancillary revenue potential, reduce costs on existing systems, 2) raise passenger satisfaction and, 3) help solve problems for operators and passenger within areas such as e.g. seat reservations and luggage theft.
